Objective: standardize your CAD workspace.

Prereqs: Onshape accounts for team members.

Steps

• Create team folders/documents; set permissions and sharing.
• Add MKCAD; set naming conventions and versioning rules.
• Create templates for parts, assemblies, and drawings.
• Define material presets (aluminum, polycarb, steel) and default appearances to spot material errors.
• Set up drawing title blocks with revision fields and approval lines.

Deliverables

• Shared Onshape workspace with MKCAD and templates ready.
• Starter template links (part, assembly, drawing) posted for everyone.
