Season 2025 Strategy Guide

This folder contains all season documents: strategy, match analysis, scouting, robot design notes, and tuning logs.
Folder Structure
- game/ – rules, field notes, constraints
- strategy/ – game strategy, scoring breakdowns, match plans
- robot/ – architecture, CAD, subsystem plans
- testing/ – tuning logs, data, failures, fixes
- events/ – match notes, postmortems, scouting data
Each section must contain:
- Owner name or filename prefix
- Revision date
- Status (draft, active, archived)
Versioning Rules
Documents are versioned by date and significant changes.
Format:
YYYY-MM-DD-description.md
Examples:
2025-01-10-opening-strategy.md
2025-02-03-autonomous-shooting-update.md
Commit messages must include:
- What changed
- Why it changed
- Who approved it
Maintaining This Folder
When revising strategy:
- Update the document rather than create duplicates.
- If a strategy changes significantly, archive old version.
- Add a short rationale at top of file explaining why.
Every document should reflect current thinking.
